‘Virtual Vidya’ is an initiative by Indira Group of Institutes, Pune for all teachers across the globe.
It is designed by experts to familiarize teachers with the latest virtual teaching-learning methodologies & online platforms. The course aimed at enhancing technical skills for effective teaching in the evolving digital scenario.
The five-day training program will commence on 29th June 2020. On successful completion, participant ICAD faculties were given a certificate by IIMP which is an autonomous institute affiliated to SavtribaiPhule Pune University and approved by AICTE, New Delhi.
Icad is equipped with all modern amenities for promoting our course on a digital platform. Our
students are our priority and conveying the best knowledge our goal. For the safety of students Icad is conducting online all classroom sessions using latest software and latest technology.

ZONAL NASA 2019 held at Aurangabad, from 14th to 17th September 2019, where 33 colleges from all over Maharashtra participated.
The students achieved splendid success in their first year of participation, winning special mention awards in Major Design Trophy, citation in Minor Design Trophy and winners in various on spot trophies.

Idol making, pledged to use the same and spread the awareness for clean city rivers by the usage of ecofriendly Ganapati and immersing the same as at residential premises .
An online workshop on yoga was conducted for the faculties in
Idol making, pledged to use the same and awareness for mediation practices to cope up with the spread of coronavirus.
Trees were planted in the Campus of ICAD to promote environmental
awareness and create ecological balance.
Student of Indira showed full enthusiasm in product development
to face the current pandemic by proposing social distancing solutions for public space.
My sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Indira college of Architecture and Design for providing me with unforgettable experiences throughout my 5 years of journey as an Architecture Student. The efforts put by the faculty members to make students reach the required level of discipline and hard work is undoubtedly appreciable. The campus, the people and efforts of faculty provides an atmosphere full of motivation and innovation. The positivity and “always ready to help” nature of faculty helped in personal development. I proudly and wholeheartedly acknowledge the efforts fromICAD for this journey full of positivity.
Being the first batch of the college, I was always a bit skeptical regarding the teaching processes and overall environment, as we were about to give 5 years of our lives without any guidance of the seniors. But as it turned out, these 5 years were the most amazing academic years of my life. The efforts taken by the faculty for providing a convenient educational experience along with extra-curricular activities was truly immeasurable. They also strived to provide other opportunities to the students by arranging various guest lectures, workshops, and competitions which are really necessary for Architectural learning. I am very thankful to IGI and ICAD to help me chase my dreams and take the first step towards my career.
5 years is a long time for a student pursuing higher studies at any institute, and yet at ICAD these years have passed in a few fleeting seconds. From all the essential studios and exams to countless field visits and renowned guest lecturers, I got an opportunity to not only learn but also experience how the field of architecture worked. Along with organizing extravagant college festivals and representing our institute on various platforms taught me how important team work is how leadership matters in life. ICAD has achieved a lot in a short amount of time since it was founded, and hence as a proud icadian from the first batch I can look forward to a great future and look back at all the fond memories I made with my friends and teachers.
If you are looking for something out of the box, then this is the appropriate place for you. The approach we have at ICAD is something that sets it apart from the rest. I consider myself very fortunate for being able to pursue a profession I am most passionate about. I met really good mentors at ICAD, they are very supportive in all aspects. The approach is extremely profound yet sensitive at the same time. The transition from a fresher to a B.Arch is phenomenal.It is a great place to grow and develop in. I am proud to be a part of ICAD.
For me ICAD stands for Innovation and Creativity for Architectural Development. ICAD is a place where you can find an amalgamation of learning, fun, culture and many preaching experiences. Faculty nurture the students with their knowledge, care and love. ICAD definitely added value to my professional life. There are many events and workshops conducted by ICAD which helped me unleash my creativity and helped me explore in different horizons through architecture, thus developing my overall personality.
I am truly grateful to be a student of ICAD, as this college, not only guided me, but also mentored me to lay the foundation of my understanding and learnings in the field of Architecture. I, hailing from a different city, was accepted by this college as one of their own and nurtured me like a family with discipline, knowledge as well as some fun. The principal, the faculty as well as the helping staff lead me to an unforgettable educational experience, while tolerating my shenanigans & motivated me to produce optimum work. The extra-curricular activities and workshops added more excitement and a will to learn more & more in my learning period. I am honoured to be a part of IGI & ICAD. Thankyou!
